William Edward Massey went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the age of 87 years.  He was born in Moore, Texas on March 13, 1933.  William loved hunting and being a truck driver.  He was a lifetime member of the N.R.A.  William was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ruth Massey and brothers, Eugene Massey Jr. and Johnny Massey.  He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Tommie Lee Massey; children, William Edward Massey Jr. and wife Shirley, Brenda Jo Reeves and husband Ira, Elizabeth Ann Smith and husband Anthony; twelve grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; brother, James Franklin Massey and wife Marlene; niece, Linette McCue, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Friday, September 11th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at Southeast Baptist Church on Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
