Whitney Brooke Presas-Weddel, born December 22nd, 1984, was taken from us unexpectedly on February 8th, 2024 at age 39. She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandmother, Jeannie Ricketts, and Paternal Grandparents Marylou and Samuel V. Presas.

She is survived by her parents Charlie and Monique Presas, brother Logan Presas (Paulena). Her beloved nephews Deacon and Gatlin Presas. Her grandfather Larry Ricketts. Her aunts Ginger Friesenhahn (Scooter), Brandy Alvarado (David). Her uncles Jess Presas (Mary-Lynn), Sam Presas (Irene) and Russell Presas.
Cousins, Joshua, Daniela, Anthony, Keely, Carson, Connor, Callie and Chloe, and her boyfriend Justin Adams.

In addition, Whitney will be missed by her ECISD and IDEA School families and so many more family, friends and students whose lives she touched. Our family has suffered a devastating loss. We will miss her every single day.

Thank you for the outpouring of love for our Whitney and the support for our family. We are forever grateful and appreciate it more than you know.

A celebration of her beautiful life will be held Saturday, February 24th, 2024, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at Bierschwale Family Heritage Oaks Mortuary located at 2502 S WW White Rd San Antonio, TX 78222.  Family, friends, fellow educators and her beloved students are invited to speak during a period of open remembrance from 2pm to 4pm.  A closing Eulogy and Prayer service will be held at 5pm.
