Virginia Ramos Rymers, age 48; went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 15th 2016. Born May 15th 1968, Virginia grew up not knowing who God was or what it meant to be saved. By the age of 19 she not only met her husband Gabriel Rymers, but she also became a born again Christian.
In the years to follow she lived her life serving God first; than her husband, than her three children as a stay at home mother. She was a virtuous woman full of life, love and wisdom beyond her years. She would always find a way to talk about God and his wonderful gift of eternal life to anyone she would meet. By the age of 42 she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer which later became terminal, however that did not detour her from living for the Lord. In fact, it motivated her even more as she would now be able to reach out to people in many other ways. Many of her friends and family were awed at her strength and endurance as she fought cancer, yet her response to everyone who told her that was always turned to God. She quoted various scriptures that showed her strength was not her own but rather, of God through the unbounded faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 12:2-5; "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people. Make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things; this is known in all the earth."
Virginia battled the cancer that grew inside her with God on her side for over 6 years. She was preceded in death by her son Moses Aaron Rymers, her father Melchor Rey Ramos, her brother Johnny Ramos and sister Maria C. Renteria. She is survived by her Husband - Gabriel Rymers; Son - Samuel Z Rymers; Daughter - Hannah R Rymers, and her two Grandchildren Johnny VW Rymers and Lily Ann Rymers. She also leaves behind her Mother Socorro Ramos, and her siblings Ray Ramos, Mon Ramos, Cesar Ramos, Mary Gil, and Elena R Castillo along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
"My brothers and sisters in Christ; this is not the end but rather the beginning of an eternity with Jesus in all his majesty."
Praise and thanksgiving shall be heard in Heaven and Earth! For Virginia is now rejoicing with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and she will reign with him in Glory forever as his Bride.
