Valeska Elwell-Frazier went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 74 years. She was a member of the City Council of Killeen and was a very active member at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church, also in Killeen. Valeska helped to write the Spanish Curriculum for the Killeen Independent School District and was the Director for the Flag Corp at Ellison High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Margarita Gallardo. Valeska is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Larry D. Frazier; children, Chantel James and husband Gene, Eric Elwell and wife Julie, Scarlet Chopin, Jeffrey Elwell and wife Stephanie; sisters, Araceli Turner, Martha Garcia and husband Richard; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Wednesday, May 25th beginning at 11:30 a.m., followed by funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
