Una Yvonne Garro Faulkner passed away unexpectedly Nov. 23, 2025, leaving her family and closest friends in deep sorrow. Born October 2, 1951, to Fermine & Elsie Garro in San Antonio, TX. She was a graduate of University of Texas San Antonio earning her degree in accounting. Yvonne was known for her quick wit and humor, which she could make anyone laugh. In her earlier years you could find her out country dancing with her closest friends and spending time with her children. She was a loving mother who adored her children, but becoming a Grammy was the greatest joy of her life, and from that moment on, her grandchildren were her whole world. She was their Grammy, Caretaker, and most importantly she was their best friend.

Yvonne is survived by her daughter Una Yvette (Faulkner) Schwartz (Nick), granddaughters Una Yvain & Una Yvelle Faulker, brother Rick Garro and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and son Jody Ray Faulkner.

A memorial service will be held December 28, 2025
