It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tommy V. Moreno, who went into eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the age of 85. Tommy was born on September 9, 1939, to his parents Tomas and Rebecca Moreno in Reedville, Texas. Tommy two favorite hobbies included fishing and hunting. Tommy was a coach of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church softball team. In his spare time, he also loved to work on cars. Tommy was a very loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He also did great work on missions in Mexico. He is survived by his wife Teresa V. Moreno-64 years of marriage, four children: Tommy V. Moreno Jr. (Nancy), Todd Anthony Moreno (JoAnn), Timothy Moreno, and Lisa Adela Lopez-Wood (Herlinda); grandchildren 16, great grandchildren 13, sisters Adela Jean Carrizales, and Debbie Berryman (Kenny). He was preceded in death by his parents Tomas and Rebecca Moreno, brothers Tito Villalobos Moreno, and Thaddeus Moreno, grandson Noah Nathaniel Wood, grandfather Andres Moreno, and grandmother Adela Moreno.

A visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church 713 Division Ave, 78225, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. interment to follow to Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, a reception will take place following the interment at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church 713 Division Ave 78225.
