Terry Don Brister went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the age of 60 years. He was born in Jourdanton, Texas on March 10, 1960. Terry loved gardening, being on the tractor plowing the field and family gatherings. His biggest joy in life was playing with his grandson. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Janie Brister. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Birdie Brister; children, Traci Gail Adame and husband Levi, Jason Coy Brister; grandson, Isaac Luke Adame; brothers, James Brister and wife Cindy, Kenneth Brister and wife Lisa; sister, Sandra Stewart; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and his beloved grand dog, Sadie. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Thursday, August 20th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Cover Cemetery on Friday, August 21st at 10:00 a.m.

Due to COVID19 mandates, limited seating capacity will be available at the funeral home and at the graveside. Face coverings will be required at the funeral home and cemetery.
