Stephen Arriola Silva went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2015 at the age of 32 years. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 7, 1982. Stephen was a Youth Minister and a member of the Prayer and Worship Teams at numerous churches throughout San Antonio. He attended the Baptist Universities of America and worked for the Baptist Children Family Services. Stephen was the drummer for the Christian Band Ashburn. He was a huge Texas Rangers and San Antonio Spurs fan. Stephen enjoyed fishing, supporting local music, and preaching the word of God. He is survived by his parents, Bernardo and Ruth Arriola Silva; brothers, Dominique and Jonathan Silva; sister, Jennifer Silva; grandparents, Guadalupe and Lydia Silva, Albert and Josie Arriola; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Sunday, August 2nd from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 3rd at Harlandale Baptist Church, 502 E. Southcross, San Antonio, TX 78214. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
