Silvia Leticia Huerta Alatorre entered into Heaven on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the age of 71. She was born to Armando Huerta and Dolores Mercedes Alatorre on September 12, 1946 in Mexico city. Silvia is preceded in death by her parents, son Alejandro Ortiz Huerta and her sister Teresa Adriana Huerta Alatorre. She is survived by her children Silvia Elizabeth Ortiz Huerta, Maria A. Ortiz Huerta and her husband Mauricio Moran, Sr., Erika Ortiz Huerta and her husband Juan Carlos Reyes Bautista and Luis Arturo Ortiz Huerta. Silvia was also blessed with her grandchildren Gabriela Moran, Mauricio Moran, Jr., Cynthia Gomez, Natalia Gomez, Alejandro Ortiz, Alexa Ortiz, Jose Luis Ortiz, Erik Reyes, Amerika Reyes and Karla Reyes. She also leaves behind her siblings Jaime Alberto Huerta, Francisca Troche, Lupita Huerta, Rosa Huerta and Blanca Huerta.

Services for Silvia will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary, where her family will be receiving visitors on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 5:00p.m.-9:00p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00p.m. A chapel service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:00p.m. followed by interment at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
