Samuel D. Cullins went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the age of 67 years. He was born in Grapevine, TX on August 20, 1948 to Romie Byron and Mary Edna Cullins. Sam enjoyed RVing and was very active in the V.F.W. Post #837. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leroy and Lewis Cullins; sister, Jeanette Cullins; and step-son, Richard Ford. Sam is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Marianne; children, Samantha and Travis; step-children, Marianne "Traci", Patricia, and Paul; brother, Glenn. A memorial service for Sam will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Tuesday, April 12th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Wounded Warriors of San Antonio or Veterans Suicide Prevention of San Antonio TX.
