Salvador Torres went home to be with the Lord on April 02, 2016. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Corina in 2009 also nine siblings. Salvador was born in Pearson, Texas, February 20, 1935 to Jose and Antonia Torres. He is survived by; Children, Gloria Castilleja, Ray Torres, fiancé Terry Cervantes, Betty Acosta (Victor), Salvador M. Torres, Jr. (Regina), Joe Eddie Torres, Nelda Alvarado (Tony), Henry Torres (Sandra). 12 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Brother Jesse Torres, Sisters; Dominga Ruiz, Maria Ochoa and Pat Torres. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Salvador was an avid Spurs fan. He was a painter by trade who gave any male family member a job. He had a booth at the Ramirez Flea Market, loved music and sold cassettes and work uniforms. He was very devoted to his family, loved to travel especially in the summer. Salvador was known as being generous with money and his home. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 05, 2016 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm in the Chapel at Heritage Oaks Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held at John Basco Catholic Church, Natalia, TX at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St Joseph Cemetery, Devine TX.
