Rusty Sanchez entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the age of 43 years.  He was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 30, 1977.  Rusty loved working on cars, fishing, hunting, music and family.  He was preceded in death by his father, Adolfo Sanchez, brother, Ernest Ray Sanchez, grandfather, Martin Flores; cousin, Christopher Lee Sanchez and best friend, Feliciano Ayala Jr.  Rusty is survived by his wife, Christine Arellano; children, Michael Adolph Sanchez, Breanna Nicole Sanchez, Johnathon Lee Sanchez (Chloe), Mercedes Sanchez and Gisella Sanchez; mother, Irene Flores; sister, Elizabeth Sanchez Martinez; brothers, Jason Sanchez (Randi) and Roland R. Flores (April); also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Monday, June 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15th for a 10:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Elmendorf.  Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South.
