Robert G. Saenz entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 3, 2021 at the age of 71 years.  He was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 11, 1949.  Robert loved playing softball.  He was inducted into the Texas Seniors Softball Hall of fame in 2020, for all of his softball accomplishments.  Robert was known for being a Home Run Hitter.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rita Saenz; parents, Fidel and Antonia Saenz; brothers, Fidel Saenz III, Victor Saenz and Juan Saenz.  Robert is survived by his wife, Gloria Saenz; children, Arthur Saenz and wife Marie, Raquel Saenz Mathews and husband Mark; grandchildren, Seth Andrew Saenz and Yesena Mata, Valentino Edward DeVora, Gabriella Saenz, Analisa Saenz; great grandchildren, Colt Lorenzo Ortiz, Sienna Ava Saenz; sisters, Elena Tarin, Beatrice Segura, Irma Saenz; brothers, Carlos Saenz, Alejandro Saenz, Ramiro Saenz; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Memorial Services will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Friday, May 14th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
