Robert C. Chapa, born to Simon and Raymunda Chapa on January 19, 1959, went to be with the Lord August 8, 2016 at the age of 57. He is survived by his children, Robert Chapa, Jr., Stephanie Kucharyski and husband Courtney, Christina Ochoa and husband Lupe, Eric Chapa ands wife Diana, Sara Chapa, and Mark Chapa and wife Jolie; mother of his children, Debra Chapa; grandchildren, Dominick, Maximus, Emma, and Liam; brothers, Albert Chapa and Simon Chapa; sisters, Vickie Chapa, Gloria Acosta, and Rosie Sosa; numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was a man of strong faith who enjoyed cooking, making people laugh, and his dogs. Visitation for Robert will begin Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Heritage Oaks Mortuary. Funeral Services will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 for a 10:00 a.m. mass at St. Benedict's Catholic Church followed by interment at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
