Richard Solis Sr., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 54 years.  Richard worked for over 20 years and retired from the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.  He worked with the Crisis Response Team for SAPD at the West Substation.  Richard enjoyed collecting coins, collecting miniature trains and enjoyed welding.  He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Solis Sr..  Richard is survived by his children, Richard Solis Jr. and Shellymarie Solis; mother, Maria Luisa Solis; brother, Johnny Solis Jr. and wife Tracie; sisters, Roxanna Varela and husband Juan, Rosario Solis, Regina Torres and husband Sal; also, numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6th with a Rosary recited at 10:00 a.m.. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m.  Interment at Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
