Rachel Ortega went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the age of 61 years. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 30, 1955 to Isidro and Maria D. Ortega. Rachel was an avid seamstress. She was preceded in death by her parents. Rachel is survived by her children, John Campa (Antonia Hernandez), Amanda Campa (Jennifer Balboa); brother, Isidro L. Ortega; sisters, JoAnn Ortega, Mary Esther Macias, Diana Tobias; five grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Sunday, May 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. on Monday, May 8th for a 11:00 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park.
