Petra Martinez went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the age of 88 years.  Petra was a friend to everyone and knew no strangers. She loved sunflowers, getting dressed up, singing, dancing and old country music.  Petra was preceded in death by her husband; Adan Martinez and sons; Adam Jr., Alfred, Bobby and Alejos Martinez. She is survived by her children; Ramiro(Betty) Martinez, Fernando(Beatrice) Martinez, Tina(Brian) Rhoads, Salvador Martinez, Jimmy Martinez, Eddie(Betty Jean) Martinez, Lucia Priest and Lina(Joe) Tovar.  23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and other loving family members.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary, Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be at El Carmen Catholic Church, Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.. Interment will follow in El Carmen Cemetery.
