Pedro "Peter"
Rojas Jr.
Apr 19, 1979 — Jun 17, 2025
San Antonio
Pedro "Peter" Rojas Jr, age 46, passed peacefully after a valiant fight against a brief illness on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 5:35pm, in San Antonio, Texas. Peter was a kind, humble, protective and caring soul who lived his life with generosity, love and intention. He was born April 19, 1979 in San Antonio, Texas to Anita and Pedro Rojas Sr, and grew up surrounded by a large loving family and a treasure chest full of memories.
Peter lit up every room with his witty smile and stern yet humble personality. He was a little rough around the edges at times but was the most incredible son and brother anyone could ask for. His deep love for his family never once wavered. Peter was the guardian of anyone he loved especially his beautiful little girl, Emma. She was his one true love from the moment she entered his world - nothing else mattered but her love, safety and well-being. If Emma asked him to hang the moon, move mountains or buy her a doll… he gave everything he had just to make it happen and see her smile. There was no question his heart beat for her and her alone. He was by far the best dad ever… to Emma he was her Superman!
True to who he was, no matter what anyone thought he always shared funny jokes and numerous move quotes to live by all with a stubborn attitude and feisty comebacks. He'd make you belly laugh so hard, even throwing a corky insult followed by love… in all - he was a big softy! Peter had a huge heart that only the ones who truly knew him got to see it first hand and experience the countless ways he could show love. He led his siblings with an iron fist in all the best ways and took it upon hisself to be the protector.. doing anything and everything for each and every one of them no matter the cost.
Aside from his love for Emma and his family he had a passion for fishing and billiards - He almost always had a pole or cue in his hand at some point. He was a laid back fisherman but was fiercely competitive on the pool table.. many victories with his teammates that eventually led them to City Championships all the way up to Nationals in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Peter could befriend anyone, no matter how tough he acted or looked he made friends anywhere he went.. some that have stuck around til his last days, true lifelong friends. Those same lifelong bonds he made just showed he was one of the best friends many were so lucky to have. He came into this world as the oldest of 4 siblings and many cousins of which countless memories have been made - some funny, crazy, sad and questionable to say the least.
Peter was the perfect father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, friend, and teammate. He gave selflessly, listened generously, and lived so carefree. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his guidance will continue to lead and inspire all that loved him.
A visitation for family, friends and all who knew him will be held Saturday June 21, 2025 from 11am - 3pm at Bierschwale Family Heritage Oaks at 2505 S. W.W. White Rd, San Antonio, TX 78222.
A Celebration of Peter's Life will be held at a later date once he is returned home with family. The family invites all who knew and loved Peter to join in remembering his beautiful life.
