Evelyn North, age 101, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Ft. Worth, TX. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, William Grady North; son, Richard Wayman North; and grandson, George North. She is survived by her son, George North; daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn and George Stanush; grandchildren, Wayne Stanush and Terry Smith and husband Randy; great grandchildren, Chris Stanush and wife Bekah, Joni Stanush, Alyssa Largent, and Amanda Largent. Evelyn worked for Southwestern Bell and AT&T, as an operator for 35 years. After retirement, she worked as a volunteer with the Pioneers. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary, 2502 So.
