Minerva Hernandez went into eternal rest on Wednesday February 02, 2022, at the age of 81 years. She was born to Humberto T. Ruiz and Magdalena Ramos on December 15, 1940. Minerva was an ordained pastor since May 1995. Minerva loved to go fishing and going to the beach and especially loved her family. Minerva is survived by her children: William R. Hernandez (Belinda), Linda R. Offer (John), Deborah Robles (Sal), Nancy M. Allen (Scott), David Hernandez (Julie), and Christopher J. Hernandez (Kelly), 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, siblings Humberto Ruiz Jr., Joe Ruiz, Olga Stockton, and Alice Escalante. She also had numerous nieces and nephews. Minerva was preceded in death by her husband William M. Hernandez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Heritage Oaks Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Salem Cemetery.
