Michael Lee Elving passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 23. Born on December 10, 1998 in Hayward, California, he called Austin, TX home. He is survived by his beloved parents, Robert Allen and Brenda Lee Elving; his siblings, Jonathan (Jessica), David (Katherine and their daughter Anne Claire), Faith, Thomas, and Rachel; and his extended family and friends who love him and are missing him deeply.  His passing is a great loss to all who know him.

He served four years with the US Navy, stationed at NAS Jacksonville, FL. He had two deployments spanning service in El Salvador, Guam, the Philippines and Kadena, Japan. He was an avid motorcycle and powersports enthusiast, with a  love for technology and building high-end gaming systems.

The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, June 5 at the Heritage Oaks Mortuary – 2502 South W.W. White Road, San Antonio, TX 78222 –at 4:00 PM, with a Chapel Service to begin at 5:00 PM. A Funeral Procession will depart on Monday, June 6 at 8:45 AM and arrive at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery – 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, TX 78228 – for the Committal Service at 9:30 AM in Shelter #4.
