It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved Mary Ruth Cervantes, who went into eternal rest on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 57 years old. Mary was born on February 22, 1967, to his parents Ruben Carrillo Sr., and Esperanza Carrillo in San Antonio, Texas. She is survived by her three children: Selena Cervantes (Eric Huerta), Raymond Cervantes Jr., and Gracie Lynn Cervantes (Johnathan); one grandson Isaih Huerta, parents Esperanza Carrillo, and Ruben Carrillo Sr., siblings: April Carrillo (Alfred), Ruben Carrillo Jr. (Belinda), and Jesus Carrillo; also, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Cervantes Sr., brother Johnny Carrillo, and son Ernesto Reyes. A visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, October 24, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, we will have a departure from Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel at 9:30 a.m. to St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass. Interment to follow to San Ferando Cemetery II.
