Maria Alma (Mona) Ramirez entered into Heaven on January 19, 2017 at the age of 61. She was born to Edmond and Maria Turgeon on November 10, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her Husband Mike J. Ramirez as well as her parents and brothers William and George Turgeon. Mona is survived by her Son Michael A. Ramirez and grandchildren Jordan & Makayla as well as her siblings Sabrina Cumpian (Lee Roy) and Edmond Turgeon, Jr. (Kathy). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Jennifer, Alma, Adriana, Marcos, Daniel, Travis, Lee Jr. and Celina as well as her great nieces and nephews Alyssa, Arianna, Diego and a host of family and friends. Mona was a hard working and loving mother to her Son Michael. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed gambling at the casinos. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Meridian Care for the care administered to Mona in her final moments.

Mona's family will be receiving visitors at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 5:00pm-9:00pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. A funeral procession will depart on Friday, January 27 at 9:30am for a 10:00am Mass at La Villa del Carmen Church in Losoya. Interment will follow at San Fernando Catholic Cemetery II.
