Maria Guadalupe Mendoza went to be with the Lord on February 26, 2026 at the age of seventy- four in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on April 16, 1951 in Durango, Mexico to parents Margarito Aguilar and Francisca Aguilar (Vargas).

Maria is survived by her three children, Cesar A. Mendoza (Joy), Lupita Mendoza Rodriguez (Israel), Carmen A. Sanmiguel (Luis); six grandchildren, Jordan Mendoza, Gabriella Sanmiguel, Carmelo Sanmiguel, Viviana Sanmiguel, Mayamor Sanmiguel, Brooklynne Mendoza; three sisters,  Tona Gallegos, Fina Parra, Isela; a brother, Ramon Aguilar; along with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Margarito and Francisca Aguilar; sister, Nave Rivera.

Maria loved spending time and being involved with her church, but what she loved most was spending time with her grandchildren and her grand dogs; Coco, Kula, Oliver and Chico.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 04, 2026, at Heritage Oaks Mortuary from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m.

We will meet at St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church at 11:45 a.m. for a 12:00 Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 05, 2026. Services will conclude following the mass.
