Maria De
Jesus Trevino
Aug 27, 1941 — Jan 5, 2022
San Antonio
Maria de Jesus Orozco Treviño, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 5th at her home surrounded by her loving family. Maria de Jesus affectionately called "Catutita" will be forever remembered for her welcoming smile, her calm and peaceful voice, her love of God, family, and her church.
Catutita was a remarkable Christian Catholic prayer warrior, who served her church, St. Frances Cabrini faithfully for many years. She served as a catechist, lector, Eucharist minister and choir member.
Catutita will be greatly missed. She had a beautiful, kind heart, gave the warmest hugs, and was passionate about singing and dancing to the Lord.
Catutita's genuine faith was admirable; she loved and forgave unconditionally. She accepted God's will and never complained about her illness.
Maria de Jesus lived up to her name and glowed with God's light and Holy Spirit. We all felt His love emanating from her kindness, compassion, and humility. She leaves a legacy of faith, hope, and love for her loved ones to cherish and follow.
