Lydia O. Silva entered into Heaven on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born to Rafael Gomez and Delfina Navarro on February 14, 1930 in Linn, Texas. Lydia is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Rafael and Guadalupe, and grandsons Eric and Stephen Silva. She is survived by her loving spouse of 68 years, Guadalupe Silva; her children Antonio Silva and his wife Alejandra, Maricela Luna and her husband George, Leticia Silva and her husband Ruben Sandoval, Arturo Silva and his wife Cristina, Bernardo Silva and his wife Ruth, Juan Silva and his wife Christina, Martin Silva, Rosa Medina and her husband Jaime, Joe Silva and his wife Norma, and Susie Silva and her husband Paul R. Lydia was also blessed with 26 grand children as well as numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Alma Cortez and brothers Rene and Emilio Gomez. Lydia's family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Heritage Oaks Mortuary from 3p-9p with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6p. On Thursday, October 20, 2016, a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church at 10a. Interment will follow at San Jose Burial Park.
