Lucy Gutierrez, age 74, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. She was born on June 15, 1947 in Floresville, Texas to parents John and Rafaela Stuart. After graduating from East Central High School, she continued her education to become a teacher in East Central I.S.D for 45 years. Lucy was a loving and caring woman that valued the meaning of family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was loved dearly and will be deeply missed.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rafaela Stuart and sister Betty Jean Stuart.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years of marriage, Alfred "Porky" Gutierrez; three children, Dan Gutierrez (Vanessa), David Gutierrez (Corinne), Justin Gutierrez (Chelssie); seven grandchildren, Tristan, Sarah, Natalie, Courtney, Charlene, Deitra, and Dalton; two great grandchildren, Henry and Tobias; siblings, Leroy Stuart (Mary), Gloria Cantu (Tony), Janie Andrade (Edward), Virginia Gonzalez (John); numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive visitors on Monday, November 08, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Oaks Mortuary, 2502 South W.W. White Road, San Antonio, Texas 78222, a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Services will conclude at the end of the evening.
