Linnie Kight Lopez entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the age of 83 years. She was born in Von Ormy, Texas on August 23, 1934 to Cleveland Kight and Irene Frances Le Grand. Linnie was a member of the Historical Society and The Old Rock Baptist Church in Somerset, TX. She enjoyed being a Substitute Teacher and playing dominoes in the "42 Club." Linnie was a South Texas Rancher of cattle and horses. Linnie was a True Southern Country Lady. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Lopez; son, John Franklin Parkerson; and daughter, Lee Ann Lopez. Linnie is survived by her children, Mary Lynn Forster, Evelyn Kight, Donnah (Larry) Henne, Leisa (James) Shannon, JoLynn (Larry) Fox; ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at The Old Rock Baptist Church, in Somerset, TX, on Thursday, May 17 ^th at 10:00 a.m. Services will conclude at the church.
