Lenval M
Mayfield
Jun 6, 1924 — Aug 30, 2021
Lenval M. Mayfield, age 97, passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021, in Boerne, Texas. Born on June 6, 1924, to parents Dennie M. Mayfield and Dora Lee McHaney Mayfield in Medina, Texas, which is where Lenval attended school and eventually joined the Army/Air Corp during WWII. After his military career, he turned towards a rural life. He enjoyed the outdoors, always had an appreciation for nature, and caring for his livestock. While a rancher/farmer at heart he had a career in Civil Service to serve his country. After retirement, he was a self-employed upholsterer for more than 30 years. Lenval was part of an unbroken tradition and a proud brotherhood of Masonic, Eastern Stars, and Herman Sons. Those who knew him, understood his joyfulness and yet his stubbornness which always meant more to love. Lenval was a loving and caring man that valued the meaning of family and enjoyed spending time with them. It is with great sadness he leaves behind a mourning family.
