After retirement he continued his education while always working at assorted jobs. Eventually this led into the oil field and his own business, Frambs Hot Oil Service, where most often his hours were 24/7. After another retirement he enjoyed hard work, crafts and yard work, camping and visiting with family and friends on his big front porch while enjoying a cold one. He also helped build mom and pops RV resort in Rockport. His fondest memories were of providing bar-b-q's for friends and winter Texans.
