Katie O. Bailey went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the age of 57 years. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on February 29, 1960 to Donald J. and Beverly S Owler. Katie loved horseback riding and sailing. She also enjoyed spending time with her Ladies from Bible Study and her grandchildren. Katie is survived by her loving husband, Clifton Ray Bailey; daughter, Alyson L. Braden and husband Daniel; son, Jonathan L. Sharpless; grandchildren, Harold, Liam and Pearl; mother, Beverly Owler; brother, Albert Owler and wife Sherry; sisters, Sarah Bailie and husband Charles, Lucinda Drew and husband William. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Tuesday, September 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Prayer Services to be held at 7:00 p.m. Services will conclude on Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution in Katie's name can be made to the Cibolo Creek Bible Church, 621 Westchester Drive, Schertz, TX 78154.
