Kathy Louise Yates went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the age of 53 years. She enjoyed dancing, going to rodeos, and most of all playing and spending time with her two grandchildren. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Patsy Vasbinder and brother, Jimmy Wayne Vasbinder. She is survived by her children, Kimberly Robinson and husband Brett, Wesley Yates and wife Lanisa; grandchildren, Emma Jane Robinson and Wade Ruston Yates; fiancé, Marty Oebel; one niece, two nephews and many cousins and other family members. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Thursday, July 7th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 8th. Kathy's wish was to be cremated following services. In lieu of flowers, a College Fund has been opened for Kathy's grandchildren at Generation Federal Credit Union, Acct#1536909.
