Kathryn M. Recker went to be with the Lord on August 24, 2021, at the age of 55.

Kathryn was born on November 28, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas to Charles "Pete" and Lucy Klaus. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles "Pete" and Lucy Klaus; Sister Pamela "Jeanie" Nichols; Niece Destiny Nichols and Father-in-Law Cliff Recker.

Kathryn is survived by her Husband Brett Steven Recker; Daughters Amanda Luce (Adrian) and Sydney Recker (Alex); Sister Debbie Webb (Winford); Uncle Buddy Klaus (Marina); Mother-in-Law Glenda Recker and Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Kathy and Brett met many years ago while their parents bowled on the Slo-Pokes Bowling League, along the way becoming sweethearts. As life goes, they went their separate ways only to find each other again many years later and marrying on November 7, 2009.

Kathy loved her family and friends and would do anything for them. She had a special soft spot for kids. She loved the Dallas Cowboys, doing arts and crafts like her mom and making wreaths for the holidays and special occasions. She enjoyed going places in their travel trailer especially to Fredericksburg. She loved to cook and try out new recipes, working on the yard and taking care of her plants. She loved watching the deer and other wildlife and naming all the new babies.

Kathy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Heritage Oaks Mortuary, 2302 S. WW White Road, San Antonio, Texas 78222.

Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Oaks Mortuary, 2302 S. WW White Road, San Antonio, Texas 78222. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Sayers, Texas. Services entrusted to Heritage Oaks Mortuary.
