Karen Renee Ugalde Martinez went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the age of 54 years. She was born May 22, 1961 in San Diego, CA to Michael E and Roberta Carl Ugalde. Karen was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Ugalde McCartney. She is survived by her husband, Louis Martinez; sons, Michael and Brandon Summerfruit, Alex, Andrew and William Martinez; mother and step-father, Roberta and Neal Hearn; father and step-mother, Michael and Maxine Ugalde; sister, Michelle ufalde and Suzanne Petho; numerous other family member and friends. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Wednesday, September 23rd from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, with a prayer service at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral hom on Thursday, September 24th at 10:00am. Karen's wishes were to be cremated following the service.
