Julian M. Gomez went into eternal rest on Friday, March 10, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Julian was born to Jacinta Gomez on July 16, 1946. Julian loved being a member of the VFW post 912- in Baytown, Texas. He also loved gardening, bowling and being with his family. He survived by his five children: Maria E. Gomez, Julian Gomez Jr. (Melissa S.), Gerardo J. Gomez (Minnie), Mark Anthony Gomez (Laura), Erica L. Gomez-Lewis (Kevin); nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, his brother Joe Gomez, nephew Joseph Gomez, and three great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria V. Gomez and sister Judy Reyna. A viewing will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel on Friday, March 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow to Mission Burial Park South.
