Julia Gonzalez Ramos went to be with the Lord on October 09, 2019. She was born on April 12, 1933 to Antonio and Adelina Gonzalez. She is preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Alberto "Scar" Ramos; children, Frank Paul Farias Jr., Maria Adelina Arteaga and Christopher Gabriel Farias; sister, Virginia Ramirez; son in law, Chrisanto L. Ramos, Sr.; grandson, Rocky Castillo.  Julia is survived by her children, Frances Cisneros (Frank), Dianna Ramos, Michael Farias (Josephine), Raymond Gonzalez, Martina Rocha (Eric), Nancy Ortiz, Anthony Farias and Debbie Castillo (Bobby); brother, Felipe Settles. Also 40 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren. She also had many extended family members and friends. Julia was a strong woman of God and she loved her children very much.  Toward the end of her years, her strong belief in God played a big role in her life and was passed on to her children through prayer.  From a young age she was a very hard worker, independent and was a fighter to the end. "Sin dinero y con dinero, simper hago lo que queiro." Visitation will be at 5:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2019 at Heritage Oaks Mortuary, 2502 S. WW White Rd., San Antonio TX, 78222. There will be a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Chapel Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel with a procession to San Jose Burial Park for a graveside service.
