Juan Manuel Perales Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the age of 44 years.  He was an avid biker.  Juan retired from the U.S. Navy in 2013.  He is survived by his daughters, Angelica Marie Perales and Teresa Isabella Perales; parents, Graciela and Ricardo Miguel Pacheco; sister, Maricela Pacheco; brothers, Roberto Perales (Terri), Santos Perales, and Ricardo Pacheco; nieces and nephews, Robert Tobias Perales, Kalem Hernandez, Samaya Hernandez, Annelina Santos, and Freya Perales; aunt, Esmeralda Ramirez; uncle, Robert M. Ramirez (Delia); cousins, Tom, Sandy, Robert, Randy, and Russell.  Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Thursday, March 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:45 a.m. on Friday, March 15th for a 10:15 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
