Dearly beloved Jovita O. Villarreal went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at 83 years of age. Jovita was very devoted to the Catholic Church, she sang in the choir, was a eucharist minister, and was also a carrier for the Virgin of Schoenstatt. Jovita survived by her children: Adriana Gonzalez (Roland), Oscar Mario Villarreal (Josie), Norma Hilda Villarreal, Rodolfo Villarreal (Joshina), Leandro Villarreal Jr., and Jessica Yvonne Guitierrez (Julian); grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sister Gloria Nanez; also, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Leandro Villarreal, daughter Maria Villarreal, and numerous brothers and sisters. A visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, we will depart from Heritage Oaks Mortuary for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. Interment to follow to San Jose Burial Park.
