Jose Maria Lopez went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the age of 72 years. He loved doing mechanic work and fishing. Jose was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Lopez Haro; father, Francisco Lopez; and brother, Jesus Lopez. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Maria "Mage" Lopez; children, Joe Roy Lopez, Ruben Lopez and wife Janie Hernandez, Jerry Lopez and wife, Gloria, Michael Lopez, Rita M. Ramos and husband Edward, and Larry Lopez and wife Christine; brothers, Pedro, Jaime, Francisco, Juan, Armando, and Jose Angel Lopez; sisters, Bertha Alicia Daniel; sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Friday, November 13th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 14th for Mass to be celebrated at St. Benedict''s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Park Cemetery.
