James Wilburn Ferguson went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the age of 88 years.  He was born in Ballinger, Texas on October 16, 1933 to Earl Everett and P. Elizabeth Ferguson.  Wilburn loved wood working.  In his younger days he also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Wynnona Faye Ferguson; sons, Douglas James and Todd Alan Ferguson; grandson, D.J. Ferguson; daughter-in-law, Jody Ferguson; son-in-law, Ray Becka and his parents and a brother.  Wilburn is survived by his children, Daniel Lee Ferguson; Tammy Beth Becka and fiance, Danny Krueger, Russell Wayne Ferguson, Rhonda Renee Ferguson and Chris Sherrod, Karen Faye Arreguin and husband John; 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Sunday, January 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, January 3rd at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
