James William Crowell Jr. went into eternal rest on Monday, September 05, 2022, at the age of 10 years. James enjoyed watching and playing sports, playing video games with his cousins and taking care of his siblings. He was his dad's little sidekick.  He also enjoyed being grandma's shopping partner. James was also passionately enthusiastic about collecting Pokémon cards. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jesse Garcia. He survived by his father; James William Crowell (Olivia), grandmother; Margret Garcia, great-grandmother; Mary Crowell, brothers and sisters; Chole, Emerald, Everly, Ryan, Leonardo, and Ricky, also numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. James was high energy, he was musical, and his life emitted positive vibes. The wonderful memories of him play on like a song one plays over and over. He will forever be remembered in his youth, for his fun spirit, personality and humor, and his love for life. He was a wonderful son, a caring sibling, cousin, nephew and grandson. His legacy leaves a dent in the lives of many, teaching us to live out the rest of our days as if there weren't any. James a.k.a Suni is preceded into death by his great-grandmother, Donna Willingham and grandfather Jesse Crowell. He is survived by his parents, Kimberly Egert and James Crowell and his siblings, Emerald and Everly, Ryan and Chloe as well as loving uncles and aunts, cousins, grand and great grandparents. Our family wishes to extend our sincerest gratitude to James' doctors, nurses, school principal, teachers, students, friends and to Wayside Chapel and the CBC Community Bible Church for your continuous prayers, sympathy, support, unfailing hope and faith throughout this experience dealing with cancer. A viewing will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Heritage Oaks Mortuary Chapel at 11:00 a.m., internment to follow to San Jose Burial Park.
