James Williams Cowan, 58, passed away on August 31, 2018 in San Antonio, Texas.

James was born in Japan on August 31, 2018 to Jim B. and Lucille Cowan.

James is preceded in death by his Parents, Jim B. and Lucille Cowan.

James is survived by his Spouse Belinda Sterner-Cowan; Sons Christopher Cowan (Jennifer), Timothy Cowan and Stepson Matthew Patton (Laura); 11 Grandchildren and close friend Wheezy Thompson.

Visitation will be at Heritage Oaks Chapel Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m..  The Funeral service will be at Heritage Oaks Chapel Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m..  Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park South.
