Herlinda V. Guerrero went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, 2015 at the age of 61 years. She was born in San Antonio on March 13, 1954. Herlinda loved doing Word Search and Crossword Puzzles, and traveling, especially going to the river with her family. She was a "Betty Boop" fan and enjoyed watching the Sci-Fi Channel and listening to music, especially the "oldies". Herlinda is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Pedro R. Guerrero; children, Cruz Castillo and husband Jose, Pedro Guerrero Jr., and Veronica Guerrero; mother, Mercedes Sandoval; sister, Irene Lemos; brother, Richard Valdez; grandsons, Jose Hilario Castillo, Marcos Antonio Castillo, and Jaiden Alexander Guerrero. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose H. Valdez. Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Tuesday, August 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 5th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Meadowlawn Memorial Park.
