Gloria Rodriguez Zurita passed away on September 12, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on December 10, 1952 to Jose Rodriguez and Martha Flores.

Gloria was a loving and caring woman who cherished her family above all else. She shared 17 years of marriage with her husband Felipe Vera Zurita. They enjoyed fishing together and making many wonderful memories. Gloria also loved sewing and took pride in creating things with her hands.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit and the love she gave so freely to her family and those around her.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 17 years Felipe Vera Zurita; her son Ernest Espinoza and his spouse Renee; her stepmother Rosa Rodriguez; grandchildren Ernest Rene, Sebastian, Christion, Aubree, Damon and Justice; seven great-grandchildren; siblings Blanca Rosales and Arthur Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Rodriguez and Martha Flores; her son Joe Anthony; siblings Martha, Lisa and brother Jose.

Gloria will be deeply missed and forever cherished by the family and friends who loved her.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 12p-4p.
