Gloria Holguin went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the age of 67 years.  She was born in Seguin, Texas on November 12, 1952.  Gloria was very involved with St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Elmendorf, TX.  She was a member of the Guadalupanas and the A.C.T.S. program.  She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Santos; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alfredo and Maria Holguin; brother-in-law, Alfredo Holguin; sister-in-law, Guadalupe Holguin; and grandfather, Juan N. Santos, grandmother; Sarita Santos.  Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, David Holguin; children, Jennifer Holguin, Thomas Holguin and wife Sonia, Julia Barrientes and husband Ramiro; grandchildren, Justin (Anahy), Cadence, and Thomas; great-granddaughter, Lylah; mother, Susie Santos; sisters, Sarah Santos, Norma Chavez and husband Ralph; also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.  Visitation will be held at Heritage Oaks Mortuary on Wednesday, September 2 ^nd from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral services will depart the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 3 ^rd for Mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 12:30 p.m.  Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
