Geraldine Margaret Simon was born on July 13, 1937, in San Antonio, Texas, to her loving parents Adolf Zuehl and Ann Loeffler Zuehl. The youngest of 10 siblings, she graduated from St. Gerard High School in 1955 where she met the love of her life, Guenther "Buddy" Simon. Geraldine and Buddy were married on October 12, 1957, and they were blessed with eight wonderful children. Geraldine was a devoted mother who always put God and her family first. Geraldine enjoyed church and gambling trips. She loved her family get togethers. She was preceded in death by her parents, nine of her siblings —Adolph, Adrian, Alban, Anna Marie, Celestine, Francis, Leroy, Marcella, and Magadalen — and her Daughter-in-law Mary Simon. Leaving behind to cherish and continue her memory are her husband of 63 years Guenther "Buddy" Simon, her children William Paul Simon (Gayle), Pamela Ann Lape (David), Janice Elaine Marbach (Clyde), Raymond Francis Simon (Natalie), Mary Diane Archey (Olaf), Edward Carl Simon, Donna Marie Simon, Ann Margaret Dryzmala (Robert), 12 grandchildren — Bryan Jr., Eddie Jr., Ross, Sarah, Garrett, Dominic, Shelby, James, Kayla, Rachel, Madison, and Robert Jr., 6 step grandchildren — Melissa, Benny, Megan, Amy, Sara and Cole, 13 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Geraldine will be greatly missed by everyone she touched with her selfless and kind spirit, but we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and is resting eternally with God. We would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful nurses and caregivers at Embrace Hospice who treated Geraldine in her last days with the grace and love she always showed to others.

Services will be held on Tuesday June 1, 2021 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church 7955 Real Road San Antonio, Texas. Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. and Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at St. Jerome's Catholic Cemetery in Martinez, TX
