Genevieve (Genny) Moore

Beloved Mother Genny Moore (Digenan) passed away on Monday, October 16th at the age of 91 years old.  Married 73 years to Milton (Mike) Moore.  Mother of five living children; Colleen Robinson, Daniel Moore, Eileen May, Joleen Gould and Sean Moore.  Grandmother to twelve grandchildren and Great Grandma to one child.

Genny was devoted to her family and her Catholic faith.  Genny worked alongside Mike in the family business until she was in her 70's.  She loved to read the newspaper and to cheer on the Spurs every chance she had.  She was a member of the Red Hat club and loved to socialize with her group. She survived poverty as a child with her Mother working 2-3 jobs to support her and her four siblings after the death of her cherished father, John Digenan.

Genny gave everything she had to her marriage and her family.  She was a survivor who taught us all to endure in whatever God has planned for us and she will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.

Tua mater semper tecum est.  (A mother's love never dies.)

A viewing will be held at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. a rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. the funeral mass will begin at 12:00 p.m. interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
