Obituary

Gabriel Rymers, age 58, went to be with his Lord and Savior on his birthday April 20th 2026.

Born on April 20th 1968, Gabriel Rymers, was a man who came to salvation before God when he was 19 years old. The same year when he married his high school sweetheart, Virginia Rymers, and began his family.

As a Christian man; Gabriel lived his life in obedience to God and led his family before the Lord as best as he could. Gabriel; being a musician, college graduate, business owner, teacher and master electrician, worked with and taught many people in and around the city (including his own sons), the trade of an electrician. While being present in his career,  he touched many lives with his personality, knowledge, and testimony. Even throughout the many trials and hardships he endured including losing his youngest son, Moses and his wife Virginia, as well as having to do dialysis along with multiple heart surgeries while dealing with other medical issues; he still tried his best to live his life for the Lord. As a gifted trumpet player, guitarist and singer; he wrote and played songs to glorify God and led the music ministry at all his local churches. He strove to glorify God in the life that he led and despite times where he failed before the Lord, Gabriel was repentant and continued to serve the Lord throughout his life.

KJV Isaiah 12:2-5; "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people. Make mention that his name is exalted. Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things; this is known in all the earth."

KJV 2 Cor. 5:7-10 "Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."

Gabriel is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Rymers, and his youngest son, Moses Aaron Rymers, as well as his father, Armando Rymers Sr. He is survived by his son Samuel Rymers; Son in Law- Brian Ponticell, Daughter-Hannah Rymers-Ponticell, his current spouse Susan E. Cassidy and his  two Grandchildren Johnny V.W. Rymers and Lily Ann Rymers. He is also survived by his Mother Gregoria Rymers, his siblings; Armando Rymers Jr., Christina Martinez Rymers, Alexander Rymers and Ben Rymers, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Praise and thanksgiving shall be heard in Heaven and Earth! For Gabriel is now rejoicing with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and he will reign with him in Glory forever  worshiping and praising the Lord.
