Ernest "Neto"  Garay went into his eternal resting place on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. Ernesto was born in San Antonio on January 4, 1946 to parents Juan Garay and Eulalia Torres. He dedicated thirty- eight years of his life to H.B. Zachary construction and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ernest is survived by his three children; Mary Isabel Sanchez (Fabian), Richard Garay (Pat), Edward Garay (Ursula Fuentes), sisters; Beatrice Marin, Rosa Medelez, brother; Juan Garay. Along with eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Neto in death is his son; Ernest "Ernie" Garay Jr., parents; Juan and Eulalia, sister; Yolanda Strickland, and the mother of his children; Isabel Garay.
