Elia Sanchez entered into Heaven on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the age of 61. She was born to Julian Martinez and Helen Perez on July 6, 1955 in San Antonio, TX. She is preceded in death by her father Julian, son Robert Sanchez, Jr. and niece Lenny Clark. She is survived by her Mother Helen Perez Martinez, son Daniel Ortiz, Jr.(Valerie), granddaughter Avery Nicole Ortiz, Partner Joe Camarillo; siblings Eloy P. Martinez (Kerry), Christine Clark, Hope Machado (Jim) and Nina Rehfeld (Charlie). Elia was also blessed with her nieces and nephews Catherine, Eddie Jr., Justin, Elisa Mari, Marissa, Adam, Amanda, Ashley, Regan, Samuel, Graciela as well as a great niece Carter on the way. Visitation begins Friday, October 07, 2016, 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be Saturday October 08, 2016 at 10:00a.m., at Holy Name Catholic Church, cremation to follow.
